One prize, a whole list of entrants

“Enter to win a $100 gift card.”

A giveaway is the list-building promotion for businesses that do not want to discount at all. One prize buys hundreds of consented contacts, and the draw itself gives you a second reason to contact everybody who entered.

  • List building
  • Grand openings
  • Sponsorships

What the customer sees

From scan to reward, step by step

No app, no account, no download. The whole journey happens in a mobile browser on your branded page.

  1. Scans or taps into the entry page.

  2. Enters contact details and confirms the entry.

  3. Sees a confirmation with the draw date and the official rules.

  4. Optionally earns extra entries by referring friends.

  5. Winners are drawn on the date you set and notified automatically.

How to set it up

Configured in the builder, live the same day

  1. Describe the prize

The prize description and its value in cents, both shown on the entry page.

  2. Set winners and date

One to fifty winners and a draw timestamp. The draw runs as a scheduled job, not by hand.

  3. Limit entries

One to ten entries per customer, enforced against the customer record.

  4. Publish the rules

Official rules are pre-filled with a no-purchase-necessary, 18-plus, void-where-prohibited baseline you can edit, and you can link your own rules page instead.

  5. Deploy

Grand openings, events and sponsorships — anywhere you have footfall but no transaction yet.

What you can configure

  • Prize description and value
  • Number of winners
  • Drawing date
  • Entry requirements
  • Referral bonus entries
  • Maximum entries per customer
  • Geographic restrictions
  • Customer eligibility
  • Winner notification
  • Official rules text or URL

Why it works

A giveaway separates list growth from discounting. Your margin is untouched, the cost is fixed at the prize, and the people who enter have told you in writing that they want to hear from you again.

The outcome for this promotion is decided on our server before the customer sees it, so the prize cannot be forced from the browser.

Questions

Prize giveaway questions

Do I need official rules?
Yes, and we ship a defensible starting point covering no purchase necessary, age and residency limits, how odds are determined and void-where-prohibited. Edit it for your jurisdiction, or point the campaign at your own rules page.
How is the winner actually chosen?
By a server-side draw at the time you scheduled, from the pool of valid entries, with duplicates and disqualified entries removed first. The draw is recorded in the audit log so you can show how it happened.
What prize should I offer?
Something desirable to your actual customers rather than a general-purpose gadget — a year of free coffee, ten classes, a dinner for four. A prize only your target market wants keeps the entry list useful instead of full of sweepstake hunters.
