A fixed amount off, claimed in one tap

“Get $5 off your next visit.”

The simplest promotion on the platform and the one most businesses start with. A customer scans the card on the table, enters the details you asked for, and a unique single-use coupon code appears on their screen straight away.

  • First-time visitors
  • Tabletop QR cards
  • Slow weekdays

What the customer sees

From scan to reward, step by step

No app, no account, no download. The whole journey happens in a mobile browser on your branded page.

  1. Scans the QR card or taps the pop-up on your website.

  2. Sees your branded offer page with the dollar amount and the fine print.

  3. Enters the contact details you require — email, phone or name.

  4. Gets a unique coupon code on screen, plus a copy by email or text.

  5. Chooses whether to join your rewards program for future offers.

How to set it up

Configured in the builder, live the same day

  1. Set the amount

Enter the dollar value in the builder. It is stored in cents, so $7.50 is as valid as $5.

  2. Guard the margin

Add a minimum spend so a $10 coupon cannot be used on a $12 ticket, and choose in-store, online or both.

  3. Bound the offer

Pick an expiry window in days, a total coupon count, and whether it is one per customer.

  4. Write the copy

Headline, subhead, button label and fine print, with a live preview of the card and pop-up beside you.

  5. Deploy

Print the tabletop card or paste the one-line pop-up snippet into your site template.

Why it works

A dollar amount is concrete in a way a percentage is not. On a low average ticket it reads as generous, it is trivially easy for staff to apply at the register, and it gives you a clean baseline to measure every later promotion against.

Questions

Dollar-off coupon questions

Should I use a dollar-off or a percentage-off coupon?
Use dollar-off when your average ticket is under about $40 — $5 off a $22 lunch feels bigger than 20% off. Use percentage-off when tickets vary widely or run high, because the discount scales with the sale instead of capping your generosity on a large order.
Can the same customer claim twice?
Not unless you allow it. One-per-customer is on by default and is enforced on the server against the customer record, not against a browser cookie, so clearing history or switching browsers does not produce a second coupon.
How does my staff redeem the coupon?
Each claim generates a unique code. Staff mark it redeemed from the brand portal on any phone or tablet, which closes the loop between a scan and actual revenue and makes the redemption rate visible in analytics.
